Did you know that accumulating exercise through the day has been shown to offer the same health benefits as one longer bout of exercise!
Therefore try to incorporate more walking throughout the day instead of staying seated at your desk for long periods of time (take water cooler breaks more often, or simply take a break to walk around the office and stretch).
If you can’t get up from your desk too often throughout the day, take a few minutes to stretch different parts of your body. Doing so offers improvements in joint range of motion and the health of your cartilage.
Use the stairs instead of the elevator in order to add extra exercise to your day.
Park a few blocks further away from your work than you usually would, or get off at a bus stop earlier than your normal stop, in order to add extra walking to your day.
Water = Weight loss
Start your day at home by drinking a glass of water when you wake up. Water will help make you feel less hungry (so you don’t overeat) and has no fat, no calories, no carbs, and no sugar!
Don’t like the taste? Simple, try water with a slice of lemon and ice cubes.
If its hard to remember how much water you should drink each day, try placing eight pennies on your desk and remove one penny every time you drink a glass of water. This will help you drink the proper amount of water needed per day.
Drinking water throughout the day also keeps your body cleansed and plays a major role in weight reduction.
Oh yeah, it’s also FREE!
