LifeMoxie!™ , an educational and consulting company dedicated to working with women as they enter new arenas—business, the corporate world, motherhood, relationships, widowhood, divorcehood, entrepreneurship—celebrated a sold-out conference for women in Denver on Sat., Nov. 19.

Titled Women’s Economic Power Day™ , the day of seminars, skillshops, speakers and secrets to developing “moxie” earned no less than a Mayoral Proclamation from Denver’s Mayor John W. Hickenlooper, who made an appearance during the reception to bestow the first annual LifeMoxie!™ Denver award on Pat Landaker, a marketing and advertising expert who is also a significant and respected community leader.

Supporting LifeMoxie!’™s Women’s Economic Power Day as sponsors were WomenOf.com’s sister company GoZoUSA (www.GOZOUSA.com), Waddell & Reed Financial Services, Franchises Galore Inc., and Power Presentations Inc., as well as a host of community sponsors.

Highlights included opening keynote speaker Tama J. Keives, who left a law practice to find her true calling. The end result after 12 years? This Time I Dance! Trusting the Journey of Creating the Work You Love/ How One Harvard Lawyer Left It All To Have It All. Revving up the audience after lunch was Ava Diamond, who exhorted listeners to “get their ‘buts’ out of their way” and listen to their inner voices. The closing keynote was LifeMoxie!™’s own founder Ann Tardy, who divulged anecdotes from her own life to illustrate how moxie—taking a chance, saying yes before knowing how, asking—and other ingredients to moxie’s secret sauce can help you get what you want in life.
