You can help eradicate breast cancer as a life-threatening disease by participating in and fundraising for the Romp to Stomp out Breast Cancer.
The Tubbs Romp to Stomp out Breast Cancer Snowshoe event is coming to Colorado at the Frisco Nordic Center, Saturday March 6th.This wonderful event helps to raise awareness for breast cancer and money for the Denver Affiliate of the Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
The Romp to Stomp includes a 3K snowshoe race at 9:00am and a 3 or 5K snowshoe walk at 9:30am. Race participants will compete for first place trophies in five categories; men’s, women’s, masters men’s and women’s and breast cancer survivor. Tubbs snowshoes will provide limited quantities of free demo snowshoes for use on a first-come, first-served basis.
Other activities for the day include a free pancake breakfast sponsored by Wells Fargo, entertainment by Nancy Cook, sponsor displays, a huge raffle, survivor tribute and a lot of good fun. All participants receive a goody bag and a sweepstakes ticket. Form a team of more than ten friends and co-workers to enjoy the day with you! There are team prizes for the teams raising the most money and the team with the best costume.
All participants who collect pre-event pledges will receive additional tickets to be entered into drawings for tons of great outdoor gear. The more money you raise, the more sweepstakes tickets you will receive. One grand prize package will be given out to the participant who raises the most in pre-event pledges, no matter if you are on a team or not.
