Local Home Improvement Products & Services
by Judy Browne

Here is a list of some interesting local home improvement and do-it-yourself products and services that I encountered at the Home Decorating and Remodeling Show.

The Belt Bucket http://www.thebeltbucket.com/
Very cool product invented by Larry Masters, a professional painting contractor and artist. The product is manufactured here in Denver. It’s essentially a paint bucket on a belt that leaves your hands free to climb a ladder, safely work from scaffolding or on a roof. It’s sure nice not to have to climb up and down the ladder or risk spilling the paint I have balancing on the edge.

Lighting Liquidators http://www.lightingliquidators.biz/
This is the perfect place to find the perfect lighting solution at a fraction of the cost. This local store offers chandeliers, lamps, exterior lighting, accessories and more.

Super Ceilings http://www.superceilings.com/
This is another local company that makes and sells Styrofoam ceiling tiles and crown molding. Before you make a judgment you should see a sample of this stuff. It comes in a huge variety of looks from faux wood to intricate patterns. You can order them painted, unpainted or with a faux finish. They’re simple to install and can be used to cover those ugly popcorn ceilings.

Summit Decorative Concrete www.summitdecorativeconcrete.comMichael Weinberg from Golden is the president of Summit Decorative Concrete and he was very friendly and informative when I stopped by to chat. Summit offers some wonderful alternatives to sprucing up and repairing your concrete patio, driveway, sidewalks and more.
