Somehow along the way keeping cardiovascularly fit and gaining muscle mass lost its spiritual luster. Most fitness enthusiasts now-a-days recognize hard core fitness, weight loss, and nutrition as the end all-be-all of a complete health package, but forget to recognize the most important “spiritual side of fitness” that will be with you much longer then those great bi’s of yours.
For many of us who work long hours and rarely even have the time to exercise, there are simple ways to create spiritual freedom through fitness, as well as incorporate daily exercise in a time manageable way for the Bride to Be on the GO!
- While listening to your music performing your cardiovascular workout, focus on an object in the room or a spot on the machine with a completely free mind of thought and sheer focus on your inhale and exhalations for the full length of that time.
- If you’re working with weights on that day be sure to have your routine organized and while swiftly moving through your workout focus intensely only on each of the movements with full attention to that particular muscle being worked.
- During stretching after your workout this is a great time to lie in a flat up position comfortably with eyes closed and palms up. At this time focus on your breathing, as well as, visualizing each body part relaxing to the point that it sinks into the ground below starting from your toes and moving up.
- Lastly, for the fitness center that has a steam or sauna room this is great way to escape into silence. At this point focusing on what you will positively manifest and be grateful for that entire day.
To sum it all up. We haven’t even touched on the benefits of implementing yoga, or Pilates into your work, or workout schedule. Of course there is nothing better than having the time available to sit quietly and use any of these techniques like meditating, visualization, or deep breathing. This will not only get the spiritual soul to start to understand how the mind, body, and spirit are all connected, but will bring about a sense of Core Ease of Being at your foundation that you will automatically radiate naturally not just for your pictures on your BIG DAY, but every day!
With love.
